A voluminous Montreal Canadiens grouping celebrating the history of the Bleu Blanc Rouge, we have a large collection of Habs item spanning from the late-1920s, right up until the present day. Highlights include 15 La Patrie pictures from 1927 including Vezina, 14 CCM Brown Border team pictures from 1934-35 including the Habs and Maroons, a rarely-seen Habs ‘‘Des Canadiens De Montreal’’ colouring book from the late-1950s, 16 Montreal team pictures (mostly Molson) from 1933-34 to 1963-64 (with duplication), 16 vintage NHL schedules (Mostly Esso) from 1958-59 to 1972-73, a number of Habs schedules from the 1980s to 2000s, 28 1970s Forum snapshots of game action including Dryden, 17 signed index cards including Chelios, a program from the final game at the Forum signed by Beliveau and H. Richard, assorted ticket stubs from the final Forum season including a partial booklet with intact examples and a binder with 65 David Bier negatives including Lafleur and Beliveau. Also included, we have over 150 Les Canadiens magazines from the 1980s to 2000s, over 25 1962 Perspectives newsprint photos including H. Richard, 18 1961-62 La Patrie pictures including Backstrom and Geoffrion, 40 newsprint player pictures from the 1970s, over 60 books, over 100 newspapers including The Hockey News, over 30 calendars from the 1980s to present and a signed Lafleur-model stick, a 2008-09 team-signed stick. There are also assorted modern items including pins, medallions, Canada Post promos and so much more! The 1927 La Patrie pictures have all been trimmed to current dimensions of roughly 7’’ x 10’’, while the CCM pictures are all in lower grades with moderate wear along with some staining. The Habs team pictures all range in condition, with the oversized 1933-34 example (10’’ x 13’’) glued to a scrapbook page with foxing. The collection is stored in 13 boxes of various sizes and is quite voluminous.
