Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
The only NHL player to ever hail from Delaware, Mark Eaton spent parts of thirteen seasons in the NHL, winning a Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh in 2009. We have a Penguins jersey that was worn by Eaton during the 2009 Stanley Cup playoffs. A CCM label with “58” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the familiar Penguins team crest with embroidered detailing, the solid white v-neck has been embellished with oversized and textured double-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Eaton” across the affixed mesh nameplate in matching material. The team patch sits over the inside hem, beneath the Dana Heinz signed fight strap. With just a few random marks present including over the upper right breast, the jersey remains in wonderful condition. There is also a small spot of red paint transfer over the left shoulder.
