Members of the International League from 1959-63 and the CHL from roughly 1963-75, the Omaha Knights were back-to-back Adams Cup champions in both 1969-70 and 1970-71. We have a Knights jersey from the late-1960s circa 1968-70 worn by one of the club’s leading scorers, Michel Parizeau. A label from long-time Motown supplier Olympic Sporting Goods sits along the collar, with the vintage garment currently measuring-out to roughly a size 46. Sporting the colours of the New York Rangers, “Knights” has been placed diagonally across the chest in individual white twill letters, with “12” over the sleeves and verso appearing in matching material. Both the sides and the sleeves have been hemmed-up taking in the circumference, with the jersey originally somewhat wider. Six eyelet configuration on tie-neck construction has also been utilized.
Small holes are present over the front, verso and left sleeve, with a pair of team repairs visible over the lower front. An initial has also been written in black marker over the inside of the lower white striping band, with this bleeding through to the front somewhat. The reverse numbers also sport repairs in a few spots.
