Gridiron and hoops nodders are featured in this lot of 4 vintage 1960s football and basketball bobbing head dolls. A 1960s "toes-up" generic doll with a purple uniform is 7" tall with a vertical crack through its right cheek to note as well as one on the back of the helmet and a couple of chips/surface cracks on either side of its neck.
A St. Louis Cardinal nodder from 1968-70 features a gold base with the NFL shield logo. The "St. Louis" decal at the front of the base is missing some lettering and the tip of the left boot has a few chips as does the front of the jersey and the neck.
Knicks nodder from the late-1960s comes with its box with a misspelled NBA "Lil' Dribber" (sic) label on the front. Doll has what seems to be a surface crack on the left arm otherwise remains in very good condition and retains nice colors and stands 6 1/2" tall overall and features an intact basketball on metal spring attached to the back of its gold base.
A Baltimore Colts doll from the early-1960s features a square wood base and stands a shade under 7" tall. This Colts nodder's head has a crack in the middle of the back of the head from the bottom edge of the head's opening through the flesh tone paint to the bottom of the white helmet paint and is broken at the neck (head split from body).
