Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
The second installment of the popular tournament, the 2004 edition of the World Cup of Hockey witnessed yet another dominant performance from Team Canada, going undefeated before being crowned tournament champions. This 2004 World Cup Team Canada jersey modeled after the 1920 Olympic gold medal-winning Winnipeg Falcons was worn by Robyn Regehr in the August 31st match against the Americans. Size “58” labeling from Nike sits affixed to the collar, with an embroidered Nike crest over the back neckline. Featuring a gorgeous two-tone red maple leaf team crest with “Canada” embroidered-on, the jersey has been accented with black tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Canada” across the nameplate. Matching Winnipeg Falcons crests are also present, placed over each shoulder. A Hockey Canada LOA will accompany.
A Nike bar code numbered “46086” has been heat-pressed onto the inside hem, with game-wear to include a few marks over the front and left sleeve, with faint burns near the right elbow.
