Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
The “Iron Man” of all NHL netminders, Glenn Hall’s 502 consecutive starts is cemented within the all-time record book, surely never to be broken. The legendary HOFer is currently in his 86th year. We have a stick used by Hall during the mid-to-Late-1960s with Chicago, before making the Expansion transition to the St Louis Blues. A Northland Glass Fused Pro model, “Hall” appears stamped-on with handwritten “1”, with additional stamps from supplier “Gunzo’s” on each side of the upper shaft. The original tape over the paddle and knob is intact, with the blade tape removed at some point. Nice use is visible on the HOF lumber, with numerous marks to the paddle and blade, with a crack that runs through the center of the paddle.
