Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Hailing from his days as the premiere defenceman in Pittsburgh, we have a signed stick used by HOF blueliner Paul Coffey. A Sher-Wood PMP 5030 model in solid black with white accents, “Coffey 77” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with the stick retaining its original white tape over the blade and black over the handle and knob. With an intact NHL striping decal present over the lower shaft, “Pittsburgh” appears stamped-on, with nice use exhibited on the desirable lumber with wear to the taped section of blade along with marks and abrasions to the lower shaft. Coffey has signed over the front side of the heel section in blue marker, and the signature displays well.
