If the late Maurice Richard ever needed to reflect on the glorious NHL career statistics he posted over the course of his legendary career with the Montreal Canadiens, this one-of-a-kind plaque that hung in the Rocket’s basement was always there for him as a handy reference. Richard’s amazing 50-goals-in-50-games 1944-45 season is right there in his year-by-year regular season and playoff statistics engraved on the upper portion of the French language “Maurice Richard Career Records” gold-colored plaque that measures 12” x 7” and is mounted by small nails on the edges to a 16” x 12 1/2" scroll-shaped wood plaque. Comes with an LOA from the Richard family.
“Records de la carriere de Maurice Richard” reads the top of the engraved plaque, which lists the Rocket’s regular season and playoff records he held when he retired after winning the Stanley Cup for the eighth time, Montreal’s record fifth in a row, in 1959-60.
The gold-colored plaque has some surface scratches that do not diminish its display. The top and bottom portions of the wood plaque have separated from the base along the back edge and there are small nail holes on the bottom left and upper right and a few marks to wood plaque.
