Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A veteran of a dozen NHL seasons, Mike Richards has won a pair of Stanley Cups with LA, in 2012 and 2014. We have a Philadelphia Flyers jersey worn by the Kenora native during both the regular season and Stanley Cup playoffs in 2005-06, his rookie season, and it’s been photo-matched! Size “52” labeling sits affixed along the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Featuring the winged “P” Flyers team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the v-neck sweater has been embellished with dual-colour twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Richards” across the nameplate in matching material. A MeiGray patch numbered C08275 sits on the inside hem near a year swatch, and according to their population report, this garment is a "Black Set 3 / Playoffs" example. An LOA will accompany.
Regarding condition, marks are present over each lower sleeve, with both paint transfer and board burns with small resulting holes over the upper left sleeve. Getty Image #57344393 from April 15th 2006 has been matched to the two red marks on the left shoulder, and to the black mark over the left elbow.
