Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Fantastic minor league treasure is this 1979-81 CHL Fort Worth Texans gamer worn by Gary Dillon. The younger brother of Wayne Dillon, Gary had a goal and an assist in 13 games in 1980-81 with the Colorado Rockies, the Texans’ NHL affiliate at the time. Echoes of the long-gone NHL team are clear to see in the color scheme of this white mesh gamer with blue, yellow and orange striping of the collar and the stretchy knit fabric inserts on the sleeves and tails. Rawlings size 46 tagging sits in the back of the neck and the rubberized team crest on the front and numbers on the back and both sleeves are heat screened. Solid game wear includes black marks on the front. Comes with Gary Dillon’s signed LOA.
More game wear shows in board burns and unrepaired burn holes on the sleeves and tails.
