Appearing in an impressive 13 NHL All-Star contests between 1990 and 2007, Joe Sakic was able to garner an equally impressive 22 points, including scoring a hat trick during the 2004 event where he was named MVP, with the offered and signed Western Conference jersey worn in the second period of that very contest. Size tagging is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and NHLPA crests on the back bottom hem. “Western” appears in felt letters across the chest, with an NHL shield crest above the left breast. Accented with tackle twill numbers, the 2004 All-Star Game patch is situated over the right shoulder, with an Avalanche crest situated over the left. A MeiGray patch numbered “B11769” sits on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Western Conference All-Star - Worn During The 2nd Period - Retained By The NHLPA" example. Comes with an NHLPA COA.
Game-wear consists of just a few small and random marks, not surprising as this garment was only worn for a single period. Sakic has signed within the reverse “9” in black marker adding his number, with the signature exhibiting minimal bleeding.
