Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Two important pieces of lumber wielded by HOF superstar Eric Lindros while representing the mighty maple leaf, we have a stick used by The Big E at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, along with a team-signed example Eric employed during the 1996 World Cup of Hockey. Slightly differing Bauer Supreme models, each has “E. Lindros” stamped-on, with the original tape in place over the blades and handles, with the Nagano stick having a more slightly pronounced “bee-hive” grip with handwritten “88”. Each stick also has tape residue on the upper and lower shafts, most likely originating from the sticks being kept and stored together. Both show evidence of light to moderate use, with the signatures on the Nagano stick thin silver specimens that have been placed over the front side of the lower shaft including Gretzky, Yzerman, Brodeur, Stevens, Shanahan (2) and others. A signed LOA from Eric will accompany.
