Rookie cards of legends Johnny Unitas and Paul Hornung highlight close to four dozen 1957 Topps cards here, with nothing high grade but the Unitas (VG+) only featuring peripheral wear, with a couple of tiny corner creases and corner wear. The Hornung would be VG if not for a spec of paper loss on the front. Other notable '57s and in the G+ to VG range are 14-Summerall, 28-Groza, 49-Bednarik, 85-Lane RC (G+) and 109-Conerly. Of the rest, (14) are numbered 92 to 153 and are a bit nicer (VG average) than the low numbers (G+ average). Condition improves with the '61 Topps group, (all of them numbered above 132), with VG-EX and a few EX examples present and VG+ the average, although most of the notables are lower. A Don Maynard rookie is off-centered (miscut on the back) but otherwise EX+, with a Jack Kemp RC similarly cut and low grade with a coin-rubbed back. Also evidence of a coin rubbed on the reverse of 145-Blanda (o/w VG-EX), with 186-Flores RC at G. The 133-198 checklist is present and unmarked, with light creases and corner/edge wear sending it to G. Completing are (22) '61 Nu-Cards, with 143-Ernie Davis at VG (the same as the average), along with ten low grade miscellaneous cards, eight of them '62 Topps. A '62 Bart Starr (SP) card is off-centered and F.
