This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
A member of the 1991 NCAA hockey champion Northern Michigan University Wildcats, defenceman Brad Werenka has also represented Canada internationally. This Pittsburgh Penguins jersey was worn by the Alberta native in either 1997-98 or 1998-99. Labeling from Starter along with a “54-R” swatch sit affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Starter crests over the back bottom hem. Styled with an attractive and textured Pens team crest, the solid white V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Werenka” across the nameplate in matching material. A ton of game-wear is present on the mesh sweater, with the front, team crest and sleeves covered in dark marks. Faint board burns are also present over each elbow section, with some paint transfer across the reverse hem.
