Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
A 1990 draft selection that made his NHL debut with Pittsburgh in 1995-96, defenceman Ian Moran spent 8 seasons in Steel City before moving on to Boston and the Bruins. This Penguins jersey was worn by the Boston College alum in 2001-02. Size tagging is affixed to the collar including handwritten “24”, with embroidered NHL and KOHO crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the Pens team crest that saw use from 1999-2002, the solid black V-neck has been accented with textured tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Exhibiting considerable wear, the garment sports dark marks over the lower front and sleeves, with a single small mark over the team crest. The team patch sits along the collar, signed by Pens equipment manager Steve Latin.
