Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
A true league journeyman with participation within six different leagues throughout his career, Jan Hrdina saw action in parts of 9 NHL seasons, with the bulk of those spent in Pittsburgh. This Penguins Set 1 home jersey was worn by the Hradec Králové native during the 2000-01 pre-season and regular season. A size “52” fly tag including label with handwritten “38” sits along the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with an attractive and textured Pens team crest, the solid white V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Hrdina” across the nameplate in matching material. A ton of dark marks litter the front, reverse and sleeves, with heavy board burns along with small resulting holes over the right sleeve. An LOA from the Penguins organization will accompany.
