Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Currently celebrating half a century of existence, the St Louis Blues were actually named for the noteworthy W. C. Handy tune "Saint Louis Blues." We have a great group of sticks used by Blues players, including Fuhr, Stastny, Oshie (3), Pronger, Kariya and Pavol Demitra. We have Easton, Bauer, Warrior, Victoriaville and Sher-Wood models, with the user’s name appearing (except on the Kariya and Pronger sticks), with each example retaining its tape over the blade (except Fuhr, Pronger, Kariya and one Oshie stick) and handle. Each stick has also been signed over the blade or heel section, with just one of the three Oshie examples signed.
Moderate to heavy game-use is exhibited, with some cracking to the blades on the Stastny and Demitra sticks. It should also be noted that the possibility exists of use while playing for another team other than St Louis.
