Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Featuring the one and only Bobby Orr, we have not one, not two, but three desirable items signed by the iconic HOFer. We have a pair of signed sticks, with both a Hespeler model, along with a Victoriaville replica stick, the exact same model as used by Orr during his heyday with the Bruins in the early-1970s. Lastly, we have a Bruins cap that has also been signed by the wunderkind. Both sticks feature “B Orr” on the upper shafts, with the Victoriaville model including Orr’s famous “ribbed” tape grip on the handle, along with his minimal strands to the blade. Both have been signed in black marker across the front side of the blades with a personalization added to the Hespeler signature, and both signatures are flawless. The hat was manufactured by American Needle with point-of-sale tags still attached, with an embroidered Bruins crest across the front, along with a small alternate patch on the reverse. Orr has signed on the front next to the team crest, and the signature has bled only slightly into the material. Just minimal wear is present on the cap, most likely from storage.
