Three Bobby Orr cards, following his Rookie-of-the-Year first NHL season, lead this 1967-68 set, with the boy wonder's card #118, heralding the Calder Memorial Trophy winner, graded NM 7 by PSA. The regular Orr card (#92) has similar not-perfect but decent centering and enough corner wear, notably at the lower corners, to send it to VG-EX or VG-EX+, while the All-Star card (#128) is off-centered and EX. As for the rest, EX, EX+ and EX-MT are the dominant grades, with EX to EX+ the average. There are some EX-MT+ and NM or better examples along the way, (64-Mikita Triple and 131-Howe All-Star are NM), with others not quite making it to EX but very few creased VG cards. Key rookie cards have less-than-perfect centering and include Sanderson (EX-MT), Lemaire (EX-MT) and Vachon (EX+). Superstars Howe and Hull are EX-MT and Esposito appears nicer, with however subtle staining on the reverse. Checklist #66 has a red ink mark and is otherwise VG-EX, with #120 unmarked and VG+. Always-in-demand cards await their new home.
