Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017

Bolstered by the ever-popular rookie card of Maple Leaf legend Dave Keon is Parkhurst's 1961-62 set, with the lineup here all present and accounted for and exhibiting considerable wear and handling. Almost all display evidence of once having been pasted, with varying degrees of back damage; some have blotches of scrapbook paper while others have paper loss or have only stains from more successful scrapbook removal. Creases, at times numerous and/or heavy, along with rounded corners contribute to send the vast majority to the P and F grades. A visible side-to-side crease, another smaller lighter wrinkle and paper loss (reverse) affects the Keon RC which however is not atrocious, with Beliveau similar. Less evident creases to mention for the Plante and Sawchuk examples which are among the nicest. Staining to the fronts of the Howe and Geoffrion cards and heavy creasing to 1-Horton, 2-Mahovlich and 43-Richard send them to P. Check'em out and let us know what you think - some cheap fun to be had here.
