Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
A rare opportunity, Classic Auctions is pleased to announce yet another partnership with the historic Montreal Canadiens franchise, one that will bring to auction a large and impressive bounty of jerseys fresh from the vast and seldom offered holdings of the storied hockey club. Examples are present from 2003-04 to 2014-15, with both important game-issued and game-worn jerseys offered, with a direct line from the actual player and the Canadiens franchise – to you, our loyal bidders. Each desirable jersey has inventory numbers from the Canadiens, with each to be accompanied by a letter of authenticity on Canadiens letterhead.
Splitting his career between the NHL and AHL, Eric Tangradi has represented the US internationally, the large power-forward has also won a Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh in 2009. This Montreal Canadiens jersey was worn by the Philadelphia native in 2014-15. Size tagging appears along the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the red V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Tangradi” across the nameplate in single white twill along with the Beliveau “4” crest over the right breast. With no discernible game-wear, the sweater remains in gorgeous condition. The team patch numbered “A05042” sits on the inside hem, while a hologram affixed to the reverse number “7” matches the accompanying LOA from the Canadiens.
