Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
A rare opportunity, Classic Auctions is pleased to announce yet another partnership with the historic Montreal Canadiens franchise, one that will bring to auction a large and impressive bounty of jerseys fresh from the vast and seldom offered holdings of the storied hockey club. Examples are present from 2003-04 to 2014-15, with both important game-issued and game-worn jerseys offered, with a direct line from the actual player and the Canadiens franchise – to you, our loyal bidders. Each desirable jersey has inventory numbers from the Canadiens, with each to be accompanied by a letter of authenticity on Canadiens letterhead.
Hailing from his single spent in Quebec with the Habs where he appeared in 56 games, we have a Montreal Canadiens away jersey that was worn by Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau in 2014-15. Size tagging appears along the collar including handwritten “2”, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Parenteau” across the nameplate in single blue twill along with the Beliveau “4” crest over the right breast. Game-wear includes just a few small marks over each sleeve, along with some red paint transfer over the left elbow. There is also some light staining/discolouration near the top of the reverse “5”. The team patch numbered “A03607” sits on the inside hem, while a hologram affixed to the reverse number “5” matches the accompanying LOA from the Canadiens.
