Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Mario Lemieux has signed his mid-1990s Penguins game-used stick, a Koho Revolution wood gamer that is circa-1996-97, which was Super Mario’s final season leading into his first retirement from the NHL. Mario’s black marker autograph sits low on the front of the shaft. The “Lemieux” factory stamp high on the shaft has worn off some though it remains clearly legible below Mario’s original tape job on the knob. Nice wear to the bottom edge of the Lemieux's original tape job on the blade with more solid game use clearly evident in black marks low on the shaft, and scuffs, scrapes and nicks to the factory paint job on the shaft.
