Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
An especially memorable decade for the boys in blue and white, the Toronto Maple Leafs were able to secure 4 Stanley Cups during the 1960s, including three consecutive championships from 1962-64. We have a circa-1967 stick that has been signed by present and past Toronto members that most likely originates from a Cup-winning banquet of some sort or similar event, with approx. 36 signatures, with many that are currently illegible. A WinnWell Marksman model, signatures have been placed along all four sides, with a layer of varnish added. Included we have HOFers Clancy, Horton, Olmstead, Keon, Pulford, Bower, Armstrong and Punch Imlach, along with what may possibly be just “Terry” for Terry Sawchuk.
The majority of the signatures are hard to make out, with a few almost completely faded. Other signers include Larry Hillman, Bob Davidson, Billy Harris, Larry Regan, Bob Nevin and others.
