Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017

A rare occurrence, the 1963 NHL All-Star game was played in Toronto, with the hometown Leafs tying a team of NHL All-Stars 3-3. Taking place on October 5, over 14,000 attended, with local hero Frank Mahovlich the game MVP. We have a program from the event, and it's been multi-signed by over 25. At roughly 7" x 10", the thick program features a number of the participants pictured on the cover including Howe and Mikita, with approximately 14 ballpoint signatures including Henri Richard, Pierre Pilote, Stan Mikita and Frank Mahovlich. An additional 13 signatures are present on the centre line-up, again all executed in ballpoint, with All-Star Dean Prentice along with Leafs Bower, Duff, Keon, Stanley and others.
Others who have signed the cover include Harry Howell, Sid Abel, Norm Ullman, Marcel Pronovost, Jean Beliveau, Andy Bathgate, Alex Delvecchio, Glenn Hall and Carl Brewer, with the additional signatures to the center line-up from Nevin, Kelly, Baun, Litzenberger, Shack and others. The program itself remains in pleasing condition with expected where commensurate with its prior use, with some creasing along the spine along with a few surface indentations. Despite these minor flaws the program remains complete and solid, ideal for display.
