Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Arguably the greatest skater among HOF defenceman, Paul Coffey is second behind only Ray Bourque for career leader in goals, assists and points. We have a stick used by the 3-time Norris winner while playing in Motown in the early-to-mid-1990s. A Sher-Wood PMP 7030 model, “Coffey” and “77” factory graphics appear on the upper shaft, with the stick retaining its original tape over both the blade and handle. A few serial numbers along with “Detroit” has been stamped to the lower shaft, with the NHL striping accent intact. Nice use is exhibited, with light wear to the blade along with additional wear to the shaft, especially along edges.
