Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017

CCM Vector 10.0 composite stick was wielded during the 2006-07 season by Washington Capitals' star Alexander Ovechkin, one of the most exciting and explosive players the league has ever seen. White cloth wrap at the handle and white tape on the big-hook blade are notable, as is the light but obvious game use. Ovechkin autographed the heel of the blade in black marker, adding his number "8". Obtained at the 2007 NHL All-Star Game in Dallas, the stick is a must for superstar stick collectors. Ovechkin is the first player in NHL history voted a First Team All-Star in each of his first five seasons.
This item originally came directly from Tampa Bay Lightning superstar Vincent Lecavalier or by his father Yvon, with the proceeds from that original sale going to the ''Fondation Classique Alexandre Lecavalier'', an organization that aids Montreal’s St. Justine’s children’s hospital in its research into Crohn’s disease. Comes with a signed LOA from Yvon Lecavalier.
