This gorgeous “Team Staal” game-issued jersey from the 2011 NHL All-Star Game in Raleigh, N.C., was done up for L.A. Kings center Anze Kopitar. A new format introduced for the 58th NHL All-Star Game saw the competing teams chosen in a televised draft, each team led by a captain and his two alternate captains. Carolina Hurricanes center Eric Staal was named captain of “Team Staal”, which wore white jerseys with red trim. Kopitar was the 15th All-Star chosen by “Team Lidstrom”, who were headed up by captain Nicklas Lidstrom and wore blue NHL All-Star jerseys. This white “Team Staal” No. 11 jersey with a size 58 flag tag in the neck and the 2011 All-Star Game patch on the right shoulder was done up with Kopitar’s surname on the nameplate and the Kings patch on the left shoulder. MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2010-2011 Season patch sewn inside the rear tail has registry No. H05768. According to the MeiGray MeiGray population report it is a "White Set 2 of 3 - GI before Fantasy Draft - NHL-MGG Set" jersey from the 2011 NHL All-Star Game. The NHLPA patch is sewn on the right rear tail.
