Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
An eclectic mix of items including premiums are offered in this neat lot, highlighted by a desirable 1961-62 Jean Beliveau York peanut butter glass. With just a pair of small chips along the rim, the transfers remain solid with no wear, with no staining to the interior of the glass. WHA posters are next on the list of available booty, with a complete set of 20 from 1973-74, featuring Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Gerry Cheevers and the Howe family. Each 7 ½” x 12 ½” poster exhibits the expected fold lines along with the odd crease or surface wrinkle, with most having pleasing corners with light wear. Next, we have 13 Steinberg promotional glasses from 1965-66, with most remaining in very good condition with the odd small crack or bit of staining to the bottom. Included are Beliveau, Worsley, Hodge, Backstrom, Tremblay, Talbot, Laperriere, Ferguson, Rousseau, Richard (3) and a single baseball example. Rounding out the lot we have a 1961-62 York peanut butter card album with a dozen cards affixed including Mahovlich and Keon, with a single loose example. The album has some spotting and creasing, and remains in good condition.
