Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
An interesting grouping of items are available in this lot including signed examples, with an “Italia” Olympic cap signed by Roberto Luongo, a 1999 copy of the Edmonton Journal signed by Wayne Gretzky, a lithograph signed by Gerry Cheevers, an unsigned copy of The Game by Ken Dryden, and lastly, a presentation card for Dominik Hasek winning the Vezina Trophy. The cap is in new condition with the point-of-sale tags still attached, with Roberto signing the brim in black marker, and the signature displays well. The Gretzky signed Edmonton Journal appears complete, with some light wear including toning, with Wayne signing across his pictured statue in blue sharpie, and the signature is flawless. Next, the Cheevers signed litho is framed to full dimensions of 11” x 12 ½”, with Gerry signing along the bottom right in pencil. The copy of The Game is in very good condition with wear to the dust jacket including spotting and edge tears, while the Hasek Vezina presentation card come with the original envelope, with heavy creasing present.
