Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Featuring Ottawa Senators superstar Jason Spezza, we have a Senators alternate captain’s third jersey worn by the winger in 2011-12, along with a customized McFarlane figurine that has been signed. The jersey features size tagging along the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the vintage-style “O” team crest in tri-layer tackle twill, the pseudo tie-neck sweater has been accented with alternate crests over each shoulder along with the 2012 All-Star Game crest over the right breast. The team patch sits on the inside hem, and according to the accompanying LOA, the jersey is a “Heritage Set 2” example. The McFarlane Spezza figurine has been custom-painted to match the offered jersey, with Spezza signing the base in blue sharpie, and the signature is flawless.
Game-wear on the Spezza jersey is light, with just a few random faint marks over each sleeve. The McFarlane figurine remains in beautiful condition, with just some light wear to the name on the base.
