Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Chosen in the sixth round of the 1979 NHL Entry Draft by Chicago, Doug Crossman spent parts of 14 seasons in the NHL, dressing for Philly, Los Angeles, Detroit, St. Louis and others. This Blues jersey was worn by the Peterborough native in 1992-93. Maska Air-Knit labeling sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the familiar blue note team crest fully administered in tackle twill with “St. Louis” embroidered on, the white “1st Set” V-neck has been accented with tri-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with the Stanley Cup 100th anniversary crest over the right breast. A few dark marks are present over the front and sleeves, with board burns over each elbow including a resulting hole on the right sleeve. The team patch sits on the inside hem near “23174” handwritten, with a hologram numbered 000715 affixed nearby.
