Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Rarely seen and high on the want lists of advanced Beliveau and Bleu Blanc Rouge collectors, we have a scarce 1950s Jean Beliveau Molson’s pin. At roughly 1 ¼”, the black and white pin features a youthful Jean fully uniformed and in game action, with “Jean Beliveau” arching above, and “Representant Molson’s” below. Produced by Basilieres Montreal at the outset of Beliveau’s career (they also made the pins for Maurice Richard night in 1951), their name appears along the edge with the back pin intact, with some very light rusting/discolouration along a few edges on the reverse as well as just a bit of loss to the finished surface of the pin. With just minor flaws, this rarity will put a smile on its new owners face.
