The amazing and ageless Jaromir Jagr’s 2007-08 New York Rangers “Brian Leetch Night” game-worn captain’s jersey is the one he wore the night the Hall of Fame defenseman’s jersey No. 2 was retired. Jagr’s wore this No. 68 jersey with the No. “2” January 24, 2008 patch on the right shoulder and customized hems on the front and rear tails for the first period of the Rangers’ 2-1 shootout win at Madison Square Garden. Size 58 flag tag sits in the back of the neck and the MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2007-2008 patch sewn inside the rear tail has a registry number that corresponds to the one on the LOA that accompanies this piece of Rangers history worn by one of the NHL’s greatest scorers ever.
“1” is handwritten in black marker on the fight strap. According to the MeiGray population report this Jagr jersey is a "Blue - Brian Leetch Night w/ #2 Patch 1/24/08 w/C - Worn 1st Period On Leetch Night - NYR-MGG Set".
