Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Hailing from his second of three seasons spent in Alberta where he scored 53 points in 81 games – very impressive for a defenceman, we have an Edmonton Oilers jersey worn by Sheldon Souray in 2008-09. A size “58” tag sits along the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the familiar tear-drop Oilers team crest, the “Third Set 1” jersey has been accented with three-layer twill numbers along with matching oil rig patches over each shoulder, with the Oilers 30th anniversary crest situated over the right shoulder. Just sporting a number of fabric pulls over the front and each sleeve, the sweater remains in wonderful condition. A MeiGray patch numbered F10525 sits affixed to the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
