Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
After standout seasons with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens and Nova Scotia Voyageurs, Guy Carbonneau then went on to play 18 successful seasons in the NHL, with the bulk of his time spent in a Habs jersey. Originating from the personal collection of HOF superstar Brett Hull, we have a Montreal Canadiens alternate captain’s jersey issued to Carbonneau in 1989-90. A Maska Ultrafil label with handwritten “52” sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the gorgeous and famous Habs CH team crest fashioned completely from tackle twill, the white V-neck has been embellished with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers along with the alternate’s “A” in matching material. An LOA from Brett Hull will accompany.
Issued but never worn, the jersey remains in wonderful condition, with some light staining on the reverse bottom.
