Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
An All-Star in 2011, relief pitcher David Robertson spent 7 seasons with the Yankees before moving onto the White Sox in 2015. The Birmingham native was also a World Series champion in 2009. We have a Yankees jersey worn by Robertson in 2014 in a contest against Toronto on April 6th, and it’s been signed. Void of any labeling other than laundering instructions affixed to the inside seam, the grey flannel has been styled with “New York” arching across the chest in dual-colour tackle twill. “30” appears on verso in matching material, with an embroidered MLB logo over the back neckline. Robertson has signed within the reverse “0” in white adding “Game Used”, and the signature displays well. Holograms from both Steiner (213593) and Major League Baseball (0000003091) have been affixed, with a Steiner LOA to accompany.
