A nice and varied selection of vintage pucks are available for your collecting consideration totaling 31, along with four boxed store model examples. First, we have a small collection of 13 1972-75 Rawlings rubber crested reverse pucks, with Boston (2), Pittsburgh, Montreal, LA, St Louis, Oakland, California, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Philly, Minnesota, Vancouver, Kansas City, the Rangers and the Islanders. Next, we have 5 circa 1967-68 Converse large logo examples, with Chicago (rubberized Converse logo), Boston, Montreal, Chicago and the Rangers, followed by a pair of 1970-1973 CCM practice pucks for Philly and Montreal, along with a 1970s blue Biltrite World Championship puck and a 1979-80 IHL-style Detroit Red Wings NHL puck. Rounding out the lot, we have a 1976 Super Series puck, a 1974-75 Capitals season subscriber example, 1961-62 and 1962-63 Toronto Maples Leafs Stanley Cup champions souvenir pucks and a generic St. Louis Blues example. Lastly, the four boxed pucks include 3 examples from Monarch along with a generic example.
The majority of the pucks remain in pleasing condition, with expected wear to the logos and puck themselves. Notable exceptions include the 1970-73 Montreal CCM practice puck (wear to logo on one side) and the 1962-63 Toronto Maples Leafs Stanley Cup champions souvenir puck (crazing to logo). Four of the 1972-75 Rawlings rubber crested reverse pucks including LA, Boston, Chicago and the Rangers, with fading/chipping to the logos, while all five of the 1967-68 Converse large logo examples feature varying degrees of wear to the logos, with loss on the Montreal, Chicago (rubberized Converse logo) and Rangers pucks. The Monarch boxed puck all remain in wonderful condition, with light wear to the pucks and boxes, with the generic example featuring heavy wear to the box, with the top flap detached but present.
