Brett Hull moved within one goal of joining the prestigious 70-goal club for the first time with his 69th goal of the 1989-90 season for the St. Louis Blues against his first NHL team, the Calgary Flames. The Golden Brett extended his goal streak to four games when he put this puck past Flames goalie Rick Wamsley in the Blues’ 5-2 loss at the Saddledome on March 19, 1990. Details of the goal, “69 – at Calgary, March 19, 1990”, typed on a label affixed to the edge of the Calgary Flames Trench Ziegler NHL official game puck. Hull scored in his next game to reach 70 goals, a plateau he would achieve in each of the next two seasons. Comes with Brett Hull's signed LOA.
The 1989-90 season was the first one in which Hull scored 50 of more goals, a feat he accomplished five times during his career.
