Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
A Team Canada standout in international play, Eric Brewer has skated for a number of NHL clubs throughout his sixteen-year career including Edmonton, New York, St. Louis and Toronto. This Maple Leafs “Alternate Set 2” jersey was game-worn by Brewer in 2014-15. With correct size tagging affixed to the collar, there are also NHL and Reebok patches on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a gorgeous vintage felt team crest along with felt twill numbers, the sweater also sports a retro-style tie-neck collar. Visible game-use includes a tiny resulting hole on the left sleeve from a board burn, along with a small amount of red paint transfer on the sleeve’s white striping band. Also included in this lot is a pair of Leafs game-used socks from an unidentified player. Made by Reebok, each sock shows good use with 10 team repairs present, with 7 on one sock, the remaining 3 on the other. The jersey’s original point of sale tag from the Leafs team store is included, along with team COA’s for both the jersey and socks.
