Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
The NHL was proudly celebrating the 100 year tradition of the Stanley Cup when this Detroit Red Wings jersey was worn by Ray Sheppard in 1992-93. With East Side and Maska tagging in the collar, there’s also a size 54 fly tag present, with the team patch on the inner hem. Featuring the Stanley Cup centennial patch over the right breast, the garment also sports embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the bottom hem. Styled in attractive tackle twill, the back letters have been sewn directly onto the jersey. Game-use includes small holes on each sleeve, most likely resulting from board burns, along with 4 team repairs. Two repairs are situated below the right shoulder, while the other 2 are on the lower right sleeve above the cuff.
