Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
Drafted 5th overall by Pittsburgh in 1990, Jaromir Jagr has proven to be one of hockey’s all-time greats, with numerous accomplishments including being the youngest player in NHL history to score a goal in the Stanley Cup Finals. This KOHO Hyper K model stick was game-used by Jagr in the early-2000s, and it’s the type of model he used with both Pittsburgh and Washington. With “Jagr” appearing on the wooden blade just below where it’s inserted into the shaft, the Canadian made stick containing Kevlar also sports the original tape on the upper shaft/knob. Visible game-wear includes black marks and abrasions covering the length of the shaft. Jaromir has added a thin gold sharpie signature to the tapeless blade, and it has slightly faded over time.
