Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
The current high bids for the cumulative group of sublots, $1,200.00, is currently higher than the total for the set, $0.00 (this lot is currently winning)
A former president of the Canada Amateur Hockey Association, Murray Costello's brief time with the Chicago Black Hawks (40 games) during the 1953-54 season, his first in the NHL and before being dealt to Boston, led to Bee Hive photos of him in a Chicago uniform not being available for very long. Desirable ensemble here features a picture that appears to have been re-glued on an original beige backing, the latter exhibiting light corner dings, with a small light back crease in the upper left corner. Picture itself is problem-free and will look marvelous when Murray joins his Black Hawk teammates in a Group 2 Bee Hive stash.
