Super Mario Lemieux followed up his Calder Trophy rookie campaign with a Lester B. Pearson Trophy win in his 1985-86 sophomore season with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Le Magnifique scored 48 goals and piled up 93 assists for 141 points to end Wayne Gretzky’s run of four straight Pearson wins. His 1985-86 game-used Titan stick with "M. Lemieux" stamped on the shaft has original tape jobs on the knob and blade and "5 Mars 1986" date stamp and code "7-285" stamp. Solid game use includes worn through bottom edge of the tape job on the blade and various puck marks. An annotation written by an unknown person on the side of the shaft reads "Year #3 1986 - 1st Goal 1st Game Oct. 1986".
