Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
Guy Lafleur’s signed mid-1970s Canadiens game-used stick is a solid and crack-free beauty that would look so good in such a variety of shrines. Hall of Fame? Check. 500 Goal Club? Yup. Habs icon? Right there with Morenz, Richard and Beliveau. Le Demon Blond placed a bold blue marker autograph on the front of the shaft of his Koho 221 gamer, which dates from Guy’s dominant days as the NHL’s elite superstar and a 50-goal scorer for six straight seasons. “Lafleur” is stamped on the shaft and his retired No. “10” is written in blue marker below his tape job on the custom-shaved knob. Guy’s tape job on the blade shows solid game wear in the form of puck gouges and wear through the bottom edge.
