Gaining seasoning with a trio of seasons in the Q during the late-1980s/early-1990s, Pierre Sevigny was drafted by Montreal in 1989, and would see action in parts of 3 seasons with the Habs. This Montreal Canadiens jersey, identified as a 1992-93 example on the accompanying team LOA and worn in the 1993-94 preseason by Sevigny as a rookie, is actually from the 1989-90 set. A Maska Ultrafil label is affixed to the collar, with a CCM crest over the reverse hem, with the sweater measuring-out to roughly a size 52. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “46” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue tackle twill, with “Sevigny” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. The 1993 ASG patch has been applied over material which is sewn onto the left breast of the jersey (no other patch underneath), and we don't see any clear evidence of a former nameplate despite the possibility of an original, as Ed Cristofoli who played 9 games for the Habs in 1989-90 wore the #46. Exhibiting light game use with just a few random marks present, there are also a few faint burns over the left sleeve, with light pilling just above each cuff. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle on Montreal Canadiens letterhead will accompany.
