The 14th overall selection at the 1989 NHL Entry Draft, Kevin Haller would dress for seven different clubs during his career including Buffalo, Philadelphia and Montreal, with a Stanley Cup championship won with the latter, in 1993. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Trochu native in 1993-94, and was also possibly worn by Craig Darby in 1994-95 (played 10 games), with the sweater than recycled for an unknown “Monette” for later training camp/preseason use in the mid-1990s. A Maska Ultrafil label and size “54” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, the white V-neck has been accented with “14” in blue-over-red tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Monette” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. There is also evidence of a former shorter nameplate. Exhibiting a few dark marks over the front and sleeves, there is some light spot staining over the upper front and reverse, with blue paint transfer over the lower reverse. There is also some additional red paint transfer over the left elbow, with pilling to the collar and beneath the fight strap. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle on Montreal Canadiens letterhead will accompany.
