Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Master Champions in the 1981 Masters Tournament in Augusta were able to lull themselves to sleep, get up on time, and know the current temperature, thanks to the official 1981 Masters clock radios given out as gifts to the champs at that time. The 3” x 6” clock radio features the Masters emblem and year on the upper left corner and comes in its original 4 ½” x 7” green case with “1981 Masters” on the top. Both the radio and case are in excellent condition, with a few scuffs on the inside bottom of the case where the radio rests, and just a touch of marks on the outer lid. The 1981 Masters featured Tom Watson winning his second green jacket and fifth major title by two strokes over Jack Nicklaus and Johnny Miller. Comes with an LOA signed and witnessed by representatives of Lacuna Golf and Country Club in Lake Worth, Florida.
