Getting a craving for peanuts, popcorn or crackerjacks. Wish someone would take you out to the old ball game? If that’s the case, have we got some great stuff for you! A total of 112 baseball postcards and pictures from the 1950s, including 2 vintage 8” x 10” B&W team photos of the 1956 Yanks and Dodgers (remember Don Larson?), complete with the typed rosters on the backs, both retained in wonderful condition. There’s 21 B&W glossies featuring second generation (but still vintage) glossies of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb, Stan Musial, Ted Williams, Bob Feller, Phil Rizzuto and a host of others, also all in in great condition. We have 12 photos from the ‘50s, published by Baseball Magazine, measuring 9 ½” x 12” and featuring the likes of Ed Mathews, Robin Roberts, Al Rosen, Gus Bell and others, in great condition with a touch of edge wear to note. There are 16 pages of players’ faces from 1950s baseball, golf, basketball, football and more, 32 faces on most pages, with a back page listing player photos one could order, all in great condition. And last but not least, we have 61 J.D. McCarthy baseball postcards from circa-1950s, with various versions of printed text on the backs, featuring players such as Mantle, Kaline, Williams, Boone, Ford, and so many others, with some edge wear on some, and a handful have the players names handwritten on them but not by the players. All in all, enough for a great baseball fix as you make your way through winter.
