Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
It's the coolest little teacup and saucer you might ever see, from the 1950s featuring great CFL symbols including the image of a Montreal Alouettes player running with the ball, while on the other side is an illustration of the Grey Cup. We really do have to say that this is an awesome set, with the saucer showing the same Grey Cup image along with names of the 9 CFL teams in their team colors. The text below the saucer’s Grey Cup states “The Grey Cup, Symbol of Canadian Football Supremacy”. This wonderful Royal Stafford bone china cup and saucer has gold rimming, the colors are clear and crisp, with the cup measuring 2 3/4” high while the saucer is 5 ½” in diameter. No chips, no paint flaking, no fading, this set is an absolute delight.
